DESCRIPTION -Funded by the European Commission through Grundtvig, VOCH recognises the increasing
importance of the voluntary sector for preserving cultural heritage and
running cultural institutions, such as museums. It explore this
phenomenon at European level, identifying different types of voluntary
work and the areas of activity in which cultural volunteers are
engaged, with the objective of designing training addressed both to
volunteers themselves and to the people responsible for volunteer
programmes within cultural organisations. The project ran from
November 2007 until October 2009.

DESCRIPTION - The European inventory is a key tool for realising lifelong learning in Europe. It will provide a catalogue of good practices in the area of validation for policy-makers and others to seek inspiration in. The European inventory is an ongoing project. Three complementary reports have so far been produced: one by Danielle Collardyn and Jens Bjornavold and two by ECOTEC Research & Consulting. Deutsche Gesellschaft für wissenschaftliche Weiterbildung und

in Deutschland. Ca. 15 Mitglieder kommen aus anderen europäischen
