Research and Reports
VALUE will report on 2 aspects of university – volunteering organisation interaction.
• 12 national reports are being produced which explore the ways in which universities and volunteering organisations interact in the area of adult lifelong learning, The reports (representing 12 of the 13 counties in the Network) will include any examples of best practice and any identified barriers to cooperation. The reports will be available as a set with a reflective summary as well as individually
• Network partners are working in 4 sub-groups to investigate actual & potential ULLL-Volunteering activity in relation to 4 key issues for lifelong learning in Europe: Employability, Older Learners as Volunteers, Citizenship & Intercultural Dialogue. Each group will set out its conclusions in a report which highlights both current & potential practice.
The final VALUE Network meeting will take the form of a conference at which VALUE outputs will presented and future developments will be discussed. Both hard copy and electronic versions of the proceedings will be available.
